Downtime Begins Tonight, Update Arrives Friday

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 is set to launch on Friday, May 24, 2024. Downtime for the update will begin at 11 PM PT (2 AM ET, 7 AM BST) on May 23rd. Epic Games has not yet released any official patch notes for the update, but data miners have found several new features and changes in the game's files.

New Discord Server

In addition to the new season, Fortnite is also bringing back its old Discord server. The server was originally shut down in 2020, but Epic Games has decided to revive it in response to player demand. The new server will be located at discord.gg/fortnite, and it will offer players a place to chat, share screenshots, and find teammates.
