A Spectacular Cast to Perform Giacomo Puccini's Tosca at the 2024 Arena Opera Festival
The Arena di Verona Opera Festival 2024 will feature a stellar cast for Giacomo Puccini's Tosca, including soprano Anna Netrebko, tenor Yusif Eyvazov, and baritone Željko Lučić. The opera will be conducted by Maestro Zubin Mehta.
The Battle Between Love and Duty in Aida
The stage of Arena di Verona on Friday night was filled with opera singers and musicians, all preparing for the upcoming performances of Giuseppe Verdi's Aida. The opera tells the story of the love between the Egyptian general Radamès and the Ethiopian slave Aida, who is actually a princess in disguise. The love and loyalty of the two protagonists is tested by the war between Egypt and Ethiopia.
The performances of Aida will take place from June 8th to 29th, 2024. Tickets are available now at the Arena di Verona website.
