Bobrovsky Oilers To Face Off In Game 1

Stanley Cup Final Preview: Oilers Host Panthers in Game 1

Bobrovsky, Oilers to Face Off in Game 1

In the inaugural battle of a Western Conference foe facing an Eastern Conference foe in the Stanley Cup Final, the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers face off in Game 1 of their best-of-seven series at 8 p.m. ET Saturday from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta. This marks the Florida Panthers' first Stanley Cup Final appearance in the franchise's history.

Panthers Riding High After Shutout Win

The Panthers come into the series with a lot of confidence, having won their last four games and allowing just three goals in that span. In Game 1, Sergei Bobrovsky made 32 saves for the shutout, while Aaron Ekblad, Evan Rodrigues and Niko Mikkola scored. The Panthers are now 11-2 in the playoffs this year and have outscored their opponents 43-25.
