American Horror Story is an American anthology television series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The ninth season premiered on September 18, 2019, and concluded on November 13, 2019. Seasons 5 to 7 premiered on the same day and the same time, respectively.
The series is a drama anthology, with each season telling a standalone story with its own set of characters. The show has featured a wide range of themes and settings, including a haunted house, an asylum, a witch coven, a freak show, a hotel, a cult, and an outpost in outer space.
The series has been a critical and commercial success, winning numerous awards, including 16 Primetime Emmy Awards. It has also been nominated for 93 Golden Globe Awards.
