Breakthrough In Anti Aging Il 11 Deactivation Boosts Lifespan By 25

WEB Anti-IL-11 Treatment Shows Promising Results

Groundbreaking research extends mice lifespan by targeting inflammation

Scientists discover anti-inflammatory protein's role in aging and health

A groundbreaking study published in Nature reveals promising results with anti-IL-11 treatment, indicating its potential to revolutionize the treatment of age-related conditions.

Researchers at the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Medical Science and Imperial College London discovered that administering anti-IL-11 to 75-week-old mice for 25 weeks significantly improved metabolism and muscle function. Furthermore, the deletion of the IL11 gene extended the mice's lifespan by an average of 249 days.

These remarkable findings highlight the crucial role of the pro-inflammatory factor IL-11 in aging and age-related diseases. By blocking IL-11 signaling, scientists have demonstrated its potential to promote health span and longevity.

This study paves the way for future research and therapeutic interventions targeting IL-11, offering hope for the development of new treatments for age-related conditions and extending healthy lifespan.
